Caterpillar Invasion!

So, things have been a bit slow on the house the last couple weeks. Curt has hurt his knee and has to have an MRI on it to see whats up, as a result we have not gotten much work done. But the plumbers started today so I'll have an update soon.

In the meantime.......we are in the middle of a huge tent caterpillar invasion! Seriously they are EVERY WHERE and it's kinda creeping me out. I'm normally not freaked out by many crawly things, (except spiders, which absolutely freak me out), but there are just so MANY!

This is the corner of the man shed, I keep explaining there is no beer in there but to no avail.

 This is a common little cluster of them.

 I'm not sure if you can see how many of the nests are up in the top of the trees, but every time there is a gust of wind, it rains caterpillars. You have to check your hair before you get in the car. I'm hoping they are gone soon!

This is Gerome, he is my gnome. Don't let the shovel fool you, he has not helped one bit ever. Not in the garden or on the house. He is not even getting rid of the caterpillars. He just wonders around the property and I find him in funny spots.
